How to create a Jelly-licious Christmas Eve Basket🎅🏻

It’s Christmas Eve! It feels like Christmas without actually being Christmas. It’s a chance to enjoy the festivities and good cheer, knowing that you still have Christmas Day and the rest of the festive season to look forward to!

The tradition of a Christmas Eve basket has become super popular in recent years. It’s a great way to get organised for a special day with your loved ones, and such a treat to dive into when Christmas Eve finally arrives.

If you love the idea of a Christmas Eve basket, check out our top tips on what to include for plenty of festive fun…

Of course, we suggest starting with a Sun Jellies bag! Our bags make the cutest Christmas Eve baskets, adding a touch of #kitschmas to your Christmas. Use our smaller bags if you want to prepare individual baskets, or a larger bag if you want to bundle everything in together to create a family-sized basket to be shared.

Next up, something to get everyone in the festive spirit… this could be seasonal pyjamas, a Christmas jumper, or if you’re working with a smaller budget, some festive slipper socks are just as fun! You could even add some novelty headwear, such as Christmas-themed headbands, festive earrings, or Santa hats!

You may also want to include some Christmas crafts, which are great for those with crafty hobbies, and for keeping the kids entertained. From baking and painting, to knitting and modelling, there are so many festive craft kits to choose from. Alternatively, you may want to opt for something as simple as paperchains or a Christmas themed colouring book.

Festive story books and Christmas movie DVD’s are also great ways to bring people together, so they make ideal additions to your basket.

And since it is the season to indulge, be sure to add some sweet treats and tasty snacks. You could also include some hot chocolate for the kiddies and perhaps a boozy alternative for the grown-ups?!

Last, but certainly not least, you’ll need your stockings to hang, and some tasty treats to leave out for Santa and his reindeer! Perhaps some milk or sherry and a mince pie for Father Christmas, and a carrot for Rudolf!

And there you have it… a basket filled with festive fun and cheer, ready and waiting for your family to dive in on Christmas Eve! We’d LOVE to see your Sun Jellies Christmas Eve Baskets, so don’t forget to share a photo and tag us @sunjellies or with #sunjellieschristmas
